treasure hunting

When it's not a rock attracting large crowds for festivals or flea markets, this man-made island turns into a development zone for a $5 billion neighborhood. When I first explored Treasure Island, there were hidden photo opp gems overlooking the bay bridge and the skyline. Some areas seemed like trespassing to get to, but that was the thrill of the island — coupled with abandoned buildings decorated with caution tape and walls with paint stripping all around them. When Yuka and I decided to go on a drone adventure, we were looking for empty spaces and gorgeous views. Treasure Island was perfect.
